Early on in his career Simon developed a particular passion for the design process as an essential tool toward change. Today his mastery of the innovation process enables me to bring unlike stakeholders together to solve complex problems, induce system change, and better engage the humans we serve.

Simon works as Innovation Designer at The Moment, an innovation studio that has helped leaders of organizations and teams across sectors to adapt, respond and lead innovation efforts. He works with teams across the private, public and non-profit sectors including TD Insurance, Telus, World Vision, Access Copyright, Metrolinx and the governments of Ontario and Canada.

He teaches a range of design and communication courses, and he has published and presented his research at several international conferences. Currently he is a faculty member of The Institute Without Boundaries. He is also a Programs Lead for the Toronto Design Offsite Festival where he curates, hosts and engages the design community in discussions and workshops around critical issues in design and society.
